He doesn't have any disks to go with it as when he bought it came with it already set up. His login name comes up but he's tried nearly 20 times with different words but nothing comes up.
If anyone could tell me how to bypass this or something would be greatly appreciated.

Try logging in as administrator, I think to do this you hold down shift as it boots or type in administrator as the user name, hopefully there is no password on that account. If there is then you may need to look for something that can recover the password

That would allow you create a new account or delete the old one if you want. Another alternative would be to buy an install disk for windows and reinstall.

Removing & replacing the CMOS battery should set everything back to a generic "default" setting; It's probably worth replacing the battery anyway.

when it asks for the password try just clicking ok with out putting anything in

just reformat the pc ..then upgrade the OS like windows xp or vista :))
