It seems as if only some of the female fish in the tank have this white thing protuding from anal fin?All my fish seem to be in good health and water tests are good. They are fed flake food, frozen bloodworm, frozen daphnia. I have different plants, rocks and bogwood. I would be grateful for any ideas as to what this is. Thanks in advance :)

It's the ovipositor on the betta, I don't know about the livebearers. You'll probably have baby livebearers soon, but no baby bettas (they lays eggs that must be fertilized by the male). Livebearer females can continue having babies up to six months after they are seperated from the male fish.
