Hey, that is not fair to them. They get taxed alot. If you make $1million per year, you pay in excess of $300,000 in taxes yearly. Now I am just the average person. I make $40-50,000 yearly, so I have no more or less reason then anyone else to stick up for pro footballers, but what is fair is fair. What they shoudl institiute is a national sales tax and do away with the income tax altogether. Those who buy more pay more. To be fair, everyone should get a rebate on the taxes which would be paid on the first $15,000 adjusted to the poverty line. This would be so those who are around the poverty line get a break. Thier would still be the $600 per child credit, but the rate should be set around 20-25%. Sound like alot until you consider that you are paying 28% or more now on your income taxes.
