I have an awards show coming up and I have to find a dress to wear. As I'm short I'm having real probelms finding one to fit in the length. Does anyone know of a boutique that may cater for me?

If you type petite cocktail dresses on google im sure you will find something. Have you tried principles? They have some lovely dresses and have a petite range. They have an online shop too. Good luck x

I'm surprised you haven't been able to find anything as most shops carry a 'petite 'range these days I should know I'm only 4 foot 9. But saying that,I've never shopped for a ballgown...so you have my sympathy,,,even if you don't have a good answer.

They have a wide range of different style/type dresses to choose from. I live in South Africa and had a dress made for me. The service was great and the shipping cost was reasonable. How much money have you got? Wedding dress shops quite often carry a formal range that can be altered to fit.

Try the Teenager section of big stores. The fashions for teenagers are really with it and no one will know it is not from another section.
