I need to buy extremely reliable AC. Just like BMWs.

What brands are the most reliable? Is it longhi or sinus?

Fedders and Amcor are the two best when it comes to AC's. Of your two options, Longhi is probably the best bet as they are in more stores and replacement parts (if needed) are easier to find.

I don't think you will find a BMW type of AC. The prices need to be competative. All have a lot of foam and plastic. Get only the features you need. Don't be tempted by digital control panels and remote control. Get the basics in the size you need. Appliance tech. 35 years.

I WOULD BUY A WHIRLPOOL WINDOW UNIT. PORTABLE? I HAVE BOUGHT THEM A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER THE BRAND. THERE WAS ONLY ONE CHOICE TO BUY. IF YOU DO MEAN WINDOW UNIT, I WOULD RECOMMEND A WHIRLPOOL SINCE THE PARTS ARE USUALLY READILY AVAILABLE SINCE THEY ARE PRETTY POPULAR. IF YOU ARE SENDING IT OUT OF THE COUNTRY-I STILL THINK WPL.
