http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

Thanks BM, u 've collected some of pirators in single roof, No country can develop or can survive with having this type of dedicated destroyers of economy. You should know the every country gets its 3-26% of economical power from music and movies or other entertaining stuff(including games). How can anybody think about developed country after seeing these peoples.

lime wire,you have too download it first,and then type the music you want,its file sharing,so if you have certain softwhere stored it might not work,cant think off head what its called,
anyway when you download your tracks,you are sharing the files off other users,so you do risk virus"s,make sure you have an anti virus programme,it can also take a while downloading,as if a user turns there pc off,it will stop downloading,thats why its called file sharing,the more people that have a certain track,the quicker it is,you can also download movies aswell.

WinMX - once you get familiar with winmx - you can download .WSX files (server packs that you can add/import once they're downloaded - which will give you more users/connections to download from) - for more information on the .wsx files check in the help section of winmx
