Not sure if it will change people's opinions but It might save you money should someone try to use race in a lawsuit or something along those lines. If you do the diversity training before anyone forces you too then it gives you a good image. Maybe people will at least act nice to each other at work so they don't have to go to the training any more. Either way, it looks good on you and might get the message across.
