I've had them as long as I can remember, although most are during sleep and not meditation. I don't have as many lately, which may be due to environmental stresses, but can get to the vibrational state 30-50 percent of the time. I have moved a single match stick slightly once, but had to concentrate so much on it that I was pulled back into my body by exhaustion after wards. The freedom from the physical body and the flying are very joyful. There are also many spiritual insights available if you want to find them. When I've thought to observe my body it seemed to be silvery but translucent(it should noted that I think this is maybe a default obe appearance, because when conscious of how I looked, I was able to change into a more human colored skin).
Here are some interesting hyperlinks about science studies on the gyrus portion of the human brain.

It has not happened in years, but I had no control over it and was petrified the first time but there seemed to be a different presence that calmed me. And it was not here. More thru the universe type thing or actually alot further but I dont really know how far because the stars were flying by like buttons on the freeway, and the presence had me giggiling the biggest part of the time but it was strange to see myself asleep on the bunk when I was coming back. I was just sleeping. Or maybe just a vivid dream.Once in awhile though, and it always seems like when help is needed somewhere. But its never been here on earth. After the first time and the giggling from whatever helped Im not scared. Im too busy in this world right now to relax enough for stuff like that I think. Dont be affraid.

it was a kind of a vague vision and i felt very close to the place where I was.At that time I was unaware of what OBE was.A close friend told me when I said that in my dream I was in her room and I felt that I passed through her pink velvet curtains, stood beside her bed and then saw her sleeping in her bed.She said,"What,No.You are scaring me.It was not a dream. But an out of body experience."

If you are scared, don't do it.
If you are seeking to just leave via OBE, get help.
Help is available, it isn't worth the risk.

Sincerely,
Mister
