it depends on how you see it. if you tried to mainstream the carrots together with the greens on the plate, she may not have realized the unique and dramatic effect having the carrots no longer separate could have on the greens. sometimes when you are looking to combine two things brought up differently you have to accomidate both of them.
if you dont, then you have people who are taking up for either the greens or carrots and wanting to remove your girlfriend from the table altogether. it can get really extreme here, especially with left wing liberals. even dinner can take a back seat to being politically conscoius and the sad part about it is lots more good working people you didnt intend to, can go hungry. thank god we dont tax vegetables, or just imagine what the pelosi people would come up with.

I don't think that "every other form of discimination is deemed racist".
Generally, it's just the forms of discrimination that are based around a human being's race that are deemed racist. Hence the name.
So, to answer your question, your girlfriend was probably not being racist against the carrots.

Hubbie doesn't like macaroni cheese...so I dont cook it for him! It's not that he's racist against the ingredients...he just doesn't like the combination of the 2. Now that u know she doesn't like carrots...dont cook them 4 her again. But 10pts goes to u for trying to do something nice for her. But YES!! u r right with everything becoming an issue of racism these days which completely sux bigtime.

Just another example of discrimination against vegetables. Just because someone isn't green they are considered to be second class vegetables. Well I will tell you something. Come the revolution everybody will be force fed carrots, parsnips, turnips, beetroot, celeriac and worst of all potatoes until they are stuffed. Join with me and fight this green is best dictatorship.

I think that the girl isn't only racist, but - by not liking the way you cooked those carrots - also sexist.
Not a very PC a girlfriend to have around, you brave brave man!

It's a matter of tastes, just that: many don't like carrots in childhood because it's forced down the throat as health food, and the dislike stays on as a bias thro' life, that's all!

Yup! A virulent racist towards the lowly root crops. You should dump her immediately. How discriminating can one get! To not like a food by the taste is being very discriminating.

Whoa you've got a lot of time on your hands mister!
And the previous answerer was right, there are two r's in carrot.
And the last time I checked, Carrots were not a race, they were a vegetable.

Yes, I think she was! Is she like this with people who have ginger hair too? I would recommend she spends some time with a carrot getting to get to know it before passing judgement in future! Lol.
