You can design her a T-shirt from spreadshirt.com/co.uk (depending where you are) - everyone I've done it for has really liked it. They come out properly printed like T-shirts from shops (not like those rubbish ones they colour photocopy on at photocopying shops). Maybe put her surname above a big number 77 (ie the year she was born) in an American sportswear stylee. I did that for someone and they really liked it. Costs about £15.

For my 30th Birthday....a few of my friends got together & cooked me my favorite meal...Fried Chicken & Mashed Potatoes....YUM!...they also made me a cake that said "Happy Birthday Hill Climber"......it was great.....we just hung out & ate & listened to music....

As an added bonus...they got together & did a collage of different milestones in my life that came in my 20's....My Engagement, My Wedding, The Birth of both of my kids, my Grandpa's death...then my Grandma's....my Daughter being diagnosed with Cancer..then her going into remission...
It was certain pictures we had....& things that would have reminded me of the bad times as well....BUT...it was so beautifully done...it highlighted all the good & bad things from my 20's.....

Also, they did a money time line.....they pasted .20 for the 20 yrs old...then added a penny for each yr after that....except for the 25 yrs...there was a quarter...then a penny for each yr....then for my 30th yr.....I was handed 30.00 for whatever I wanted to buy myself.....It really was an awesome gift...I still have it too...it is framed & hanging in my bedroom.....

I am 33 now....but it still feels good to know that I had friends that took their time to give me something that special for my Birthday...

Maybe this is something you can do for your friend....or close to it anyway.....

Good Luck

Hallmark has some of the best plaques or picture frames with friendship sayings that are really nice .Or you can always just make a quick trip to bath and body works. Or you could always give your friend a gift certificate for a free massage I don't know anybody who would turn that down!!!

A silver photo frame would be nice then she can use it to display a photo of her 30th birthday celebration and remind her how she looked at 30 when she is 60!!

If you're short on cash - a lottery ticket.
If you've got a bit more to spend - how about vouchers for a health spa or beauty salon. A hot stone massage is supposed to be really relaxing - about £20 for half an hour.

Thirty is a tough age to turn so I would avoid gag gifts like a walker with tennis balls on the bottom or reading glasses with lanyard. If money is tight it is always thoughtful to just make time for them, maybe a museum or a movie or something. Also try to maybe get a youthful gift like a toy, not like a fire engine or anything extremely immature, but just something fun to play with.

1. A bouquet of flowers (colour should be ur friend's favourite colour)
2. And if u do not have much money, u can make a greeting card of ur own, which ur friend will find valuable than the ready made ones...
