I'm 17 too. And according to me, there are more than 3 reasons.
Firstly, u r still in ur teens n can enjoy the excitement and wildness of life. U can experience new feelings and learn a lot from them. Secondly, since ur in ur late teens, u learn to perceive life in a more mature way than earlier, i.e. u start thinking wt u want frm life. Thirdly, being sweet 16 and turning to be a mature teen at 18, 17 being at the middle, gives this awesome feeling of being in the middle of a lovely timeline. Not gonna say more, since u asked only for 3 reasons. So hw do u feel now? :)

1) Washing dishes & general tasks in the house.
2) Getting your dad a beer when requested to do so.
3) Telling your parents you love them cause you need $20
