These words are called sound words, or onomatopoeic words. We use onomatopoeia when we use words that imitate sound.
A plethora of words:
moo, crash, buzz, screech, snuffle, cuckoo, sizzle, baa, boo, bang, wham, squish, crack, creak, slam, boom, ow, yawn, groan, zoom, hewgh (Shakespearean word for the sound made by an arrow), poof, eek, hey, click, tick, etc.
