My 360 was made in june 2006, so it shouldnt be one of the launch date ones.

it gets extremely hot in a very short time. especially underneath it, and behind it. it is in a very well ventilated area.

i went to my friends house today, and he has a launch date 360. not only is it 10 times cooler than mine is, it is also much quieter, and he had it on ALL NIGHT. my 360 tends to heat up in just less than 1 hour of playing time.

go back to the store were you bought it and say you product is defected, im sure the 360 has a 1 year guarantee...even if you lost the reciept, they should still have it on record, if you bought it w/ a credit card.
