If they had little or nothing to do with it, why must they pay such a heavy price? Please, look at this question from a long term perspective.

Meathead. A typical loud mouthed American. You didn't even understand my question properly.

One day you'll regret your current mentality.

You people percieve us the same as Nazis? We are not Nazis. It seems none of you can answer my question properly.

Razors, the Pals were the original people there. There were Jews and Muslims living peacefully until the arrival of the Zionists.

There were never any death camps in the Middle East.

East Coster, nice try. But just throwing off words won't answer that question.

Israel cannot live in peace with its current policies against the Palestinians.

Guess you guys believe everything in the media.

So I guess none of you can come up with a rational answer.

If you worship Israel, as in religion, then religious violence is all that will be observed.

No wonder that there are so many Muslim terrorist and states that sponsor terror.

Stele D. I agree with you 100%.

Social D. I don't care about religious facts that stem over 1000 years ago. I am saying this from a political perspective since WW2, even though its divided among religious lines.

The Palestinians are the original people there, that is a fact.

The Palestinians are kind of living on ancient Israeli grounds. Israel was renamed Palestine under the Roman Empire, because the Romans did not support the Jewish state.

That doesn't matter-- both people have ancient ties to the land. It has nothing to do with what Palestinians did in the Holocaust. Since the area was controlled by Britain, they thought it was a good idea to have an Israeli state where they have ancient ties to the land. I don't necessarily think that was the best idea, but it was ONE solution out of many.

How can you say that Palestinians are paying the price? Israelis are paying the price right alongside with them. When you speak of long term perspectives, you have to understand that this arab-israeli conflict will never go away-- not even if the Jews moved somewhere else. It is now a part of the history of the land, and yeah, it'd be nice for one of those groups to simply give up, but that's not going to solve anything. A broader struggle has risen out of this conflict-- terrorism. Terrorism will be our new reality for the rest of our lifetime. A lot of conflict has stemmed from this one issue, so the crisis isn't going to simply solve once someone concedes. Please understand that it's not that simple.

You seem well intended and well informed. Be careful about insulting people even if they insult you. If you have history to teach, teach it. Where are you from anyway? I answered this question on another QA and you can see my answer there. The Palestinians are victims of history and choices made as are the American Indians the Black Slaves around the world, the Displaced Irish, the Jews of Europe, The Celts, the Jute's, the Etruscans, the Trojans etc etc.........

Absolutely nothing. The Palestinians themselves have been persecuted all through history, just like the Jews, and now there is practically a genocidal war against them.

Why? For being in the wrong place at the wrong time, full stop...

Can't believe these other answers... did Palestinians just pop into existance to throw stones at Israeli tanks... their land was stolen from them.

""Razors, the Pals were the original people there.""

Where is your historical data to prove this?

Palestine was named by the Byzantines who were greek speaking people. Yes Persians were there before that and Jews there before them.
That area has changed hands so many times.
Israelites were clearly in this area as far back as 1550 BC or more while the first group that I can find that you could even associate with the Palestinians of today wouldnt have entered
the picture there until about 722 bc. When of course they attacked.

So what kinda facts can ya show us?

Why is there always someone making a referance to the Holocaust as it relates to the present state of Israel? There is no such thing as a "Palestinian", they were just people who stole land from the people before them, who stole the land from others and so on. That little land of Israel as far as I'm concern should be push into the sea with all of the people who live in the surrounding areas. These people are causing 70% of the grief in the world today.

Everyone over there should learn how to play nice or get it over already. Everyone is sick of this.....

If you are from Thailand why are you wanting the Jews driven from their home. They have always been there. It is true that the Romans occupied them and then the Ottomans but they were always there. The name Palestine was given by the Romans and referred to the Jews. That the invading Ottomans descendants claim the name is ridiculous. Tell me who do you think built the temple mount on which a Mosque now stands.

You know what's the real problem with Palestine and any of the Islamic countries? Their refusal to accept the State of Israel in its current geographical location.

Sadat who led Egypt's recognition of Israel was assassinated; Iraq, Iran, Syria and other Mid East muslim countries including Islamic countries in Asia, and the Muslim communities in Europe, America, Africa are opposed to Israel.

WHY this collective hatred for the Jews-Israel??? Religious reason? Then their gods are wrong whoever they may be.

the price they are paying is for their current hatred of the Jewish state and denying it has a right to exist. When you throw rockets at your neighbors and send in suicide bombers to your neighbors there is a heavy price to pay. The Palestinian people deserve better government, but, unless they demand peace, they will get the opposite.

The Palestinians did it to themselves in 1929 when they stated killing Jewish peoples.
