For me NO. Although some would tend to go out of the country to seek better opportunity,not necessarily going to Australia to marry an Aussie. I'd still find Filipino guys worth marrying. They are one of the most loving husbands there is in this world.

The majority of Filipinas are willing to marry any man who is able to take them out of their country. So, whether your American, Japanese, Australian or Martian doesn't matter much to them.
Neither your physical appearance or your age play an important role. Look on the plane do you see the fat, balding 50 year old with the cute 18 year old? That is not a father and daughter.
To a Filipina (and her immediate family) marrying a foreigner is like winning a lottery.
Why is the Filipina willing to take such a big risk and leave her family and culture behind?
To a Filipino all foreigners are rich and can therefore provide them with a better life than their present one.
The Filipina has two aims by marrying a foreigner and they are:
to better her life and improve her future,
to assist her family back home as much as possible.
If all Filipinos' overseas stopped sending money back home the country would grind to a halt within a few weeks. Exporting the Filipono worker and bride is the number one money earner for the Government.
The Filipina makes a good wife she will look after her husband and children but sadly many of them are treated as nothing more than servants.
If not for The Filipina there would be a lot of lonely old men in most Western countries.
So, GOD bless the good FILIPINA and keep her safe and out of harms way.

Only because its closer and cheaper to get to than USA and Canada. Besides, its only those with ambition and a thirst for a better way of life who want to leave. Another factor to consider is that almost all filipinos who live or work abroad send money back home. That process alone has become a large part of the Philippine economy. Their own government encourages it. I think its the only place in the world where the men can spend their time on a bench drinking tanduay while some female relative sends money back to support and feed them. Why would ANY woman want to marry THAT guy.

Many Pinays dreamed to live in Australia and many also wanted to marry Australian men because they know that those men will give them good life. That is why pinay are striving harder to know how to speak English even if many knows how. They are also trying hard to study to the best of their ability to just go there and work to have money.

To get a better life yes, but I wouldn't always say that some of those Aussie blokes that are marrying these women are a good catch. I am married to a lovely Aussie bloke and most of them are great, but i have met people in this situation, some are lovely and some are right pigs.

actually not all ladies wanted to live in australia some just wnted to stay to the philippines or any country, but still i like australia i also wanna go there.:D

the filipino women or filipinas (though not all) would like to come to other countries not only here in australia, either because they want a new life or they're looking for a better job, but not because they want to marry aussies or any other nationalities..

everyone in the Philippines wants to live elsewhere, just not in the Philippines. that's explains all those students taking up nursing! they all want to leave their country!

Aussie men are a unique species.
If you think you can get a guy, or even if you cant, theres the right guy for you down under!!
Plus its a lovely place to live... with the occasional riot... or gangland murder.... but doesn't everywhere have that??
