I am a book-lover. I got into a true-crime mood and for months that was all I'd read. Here are a few I have in my library:
Suffer the Little Children by Barbara Davis
Killer Kids by Cliff Linedecker
Under the Sabers by Tanya Biank (this book is about the spouses that were killed after their husbands came back from the war)
Til Death Do Us Part by Dr. Robi Ludwig
I also like the trilogy by Dave Pelzer:
A Child Called It
The Lost Boy
A Man Named Dave

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. The best true crime book ever written. Really, if you have never read it, its a must read. Second would have to be Helter Skelter the story of Charles Manson and the Tate-Labianca murders. That book scared me so much that I would have to put it in a drawer at night so the boogies could not get out and get me. And it is all true. Another is The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule about Ted Bundy. Chilling.

Killer Clown, sorry cannot remember the author. It is about John Wayne Gacy, who was a serial killer in Chicago in the 1970's.
Donnie Brasco by Joe Pistone, it is the non-fiction account of an FBI agent who infiltrated the mob. This is the book which was later turned into a movie with Johnny Depp.
I also strongly suggest In Cold Blood and Helter Skelter.

I'm reading this book "Every Contact Leaves A Trace," by Connie Fletcher. It came out last year. I checked it out at my local library. It's very good true crime. Ms. Fletcher has written a book by interviewing several crime scene investigators, homicide detectives, crime lab directors, crime scene processors, coroners and etc. It is all their tesitmony on the crime investigations they have been involved in. It's very good.
The price of it is $24.95.

In god's name by David Yallop. It was published in the 80s so it might be out of print now but it's very interesting.
