Commercial (in the London catchment area):
Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick (LGW), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN). These are all international airports, serving both domestic and international (long and short-haul) routes. City Airport (LCY) offers short-haul domestic and international services.
Private (in the catchment area):
Biggin Hill, Farnborough, Blackbushe, Shoreham, Redhill, Andrewsfield, Damyns Hall, Rochester, Stapleford.
These are all airports offering services to private/chartered aircraft.

The main three are Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. Then there's Luton and London City. Manston is sometimes counted and Biggin Hill near Croydon's being pencilled in for the future. Maplin Sands in Essex was going to be picked but residents opposed it, Croydon Aerodrome was closed down when Heathrow got going. There's also RAF Northolt and Westminster Heliport.

If you are asking about Greater London then there are the following:
Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, City, Stanstead (Though this is outside but many people use it access London) are the main ones. For Central London only City.
