Firstly and most importantly you need to be 'corgi' registered because if your not and something goes wrong and anyone gets hurt / dies it will be on your head mate and the law will think nothing of imposing a manslaughter / murder charge! Is that responsability really worth saving the few quid it will cost to get someone qualified!

you dont if your not corgi registered.
You can not affoard to mess around where gas and carbon monoxide are concerned, would you really put your family at risk for say £100 installation fee.
I know a bloke who linked his bathroom water up to the tiny water heater that was in the downstairs kitchen (he did this to save money) the water heater could not take this much, basically his wife went up stairs to run the bath while his two boys were playing in the dining room, when she came back down they were both dead!! they were killed by the leaking co2 in a matter of minutes.
His wife eventually left him and he killed him self.
think about it get a gas man in x
