The smirking chimp says it but you don't believe him. He does not care what you think or do as long as he can he will do whatever he wants and right now he says he's sending more troops to die in Iraq.

The cost of Freedom of the Iraqi people deserves our support. Yes, over 3 thousand lives have been lost. It is the hardest thing for a president to do is to send our troops into a conflict where their lives are at stake. It is not about being a hero, it is about not giving up a good worthy cause. When there is peace , it will be looked at as a good cause by America. It will take time and patience. Hopefully it will be done before the next presidential election.

we go over and over this dumb question! We enjoy an all volunteer military and everyone who joins does so with the knowledge that we could at some point go to war. we have gone to war! They knew the sacrifice they might have to make. President Bush does not fancy himself a hero. Although I commend him for having the courage of his convictions and standing by them. what part of this is still confusing to you?

I don't think it's to make a hero of himself (and I am NO Bush fan). We can't leave yet. Period.

God Bless our true heroes, the soldiers who are there.

Simply put because he is Bush and he can do it. No rational, logical or sane explanation can exist.
