You don't say that its for you, so you may just be asking what others think. I think that any sex without the consent and knowledge of your partner is cheating.

Yes, it is; you have to ask yourself this one question: would it be okay if your wife or girlfriend hired a male prostitute? If you get angry or upset at the thought, imagine how she would feel. The other downside of hiring a prostitute is that it is a profession that is degrading to women. Contrary to popular belief, most women "in the life" are not sexual predators that want sex all of the time--they are victims in a cycle of usage and violence that needs to stop. If you have a mother, sister, daughter...any female relatives, would you want this for them? If you go to a prostitute, you simply continue this horrible practice. Also, the financial investment can be better spent on something else other than some pimp's pocket. Get couples counseling; discover a great date getaway; even save up the money for a romantic getaway that can strengthen your relationship, instead of tearing it down. And then of course, masturbation. You're not as likely to get an STD, and you can fantasize about any woman you like! Good luck and God bless.

Yes it definately counts as cheating. Its also very disgusting and unsafe. If my man ever slept with a prostitute I would never be with him again. Shame on you for even asking this question or even thinking about it!! Plus that Im sure you can find better things to waste your money on.

If your wife works as a prostitute, while married to you, would you consider that as cheating ? Would that be acceptable to you ?

Yes - and utterly degrading to your other half. If you have recourse to see a prostitute I think you should sit down and have a serious chat with your partner - there must be something wrong in your relationship.

If you rob a bank but don't need the money, it's not theft... right? If you run over an elderly woman and no one saw you do it... that's not really manslaughter... right? If your partner is HIV positive but doesn't tell you... that's not really a lie, right, it's just not full disclosure, which is, after all, really OK... right???

If your an idiot (as you seem to be here) but no one tells you, your really not an idiot, your still a genius in your own mind!

I believe cheating is being unfaithful, and if you hire a protute it is being unfaithfull. Therefore it is cheating and more especially if your partner does not know. And you would not want your partner to know about people you are involved with

What are you thinking? Of course it is.
It does not matter if you are a man or a woman, having sex wtih someone else other than your husband or wife is cheating and completely wrong.
