Well, I'm not sure. But you just asked the second.

I would ask, "How do I know that I understand the answer to this question?" At least then you know you get something for sure.

The most important question is dependent on the questioner, for if the questioner already intuitively knows, or effectively knows, the answer to a question, then they would not necessarily benefit from hearing the answer, especially if they were also confident that they knew. Perhaps the 'most important question' of all would be the question most important to the greatest thinking being of all. If you don't believe that a most important being of all exists, that is fine. We can still consider philosophically a "god's-eye" perspective, an ultimate perspective from which "everything" is understood, from which 'everything' understands 'itself'. I would say then the most important question would be one of the question words, proceeded by "am I?" ... "what am i?, how am i(how do i exist)? who am i, where am i, when am i? Or simply "Am I?" Take your pick, they largely sound equivalent to me. If I were "God" I would ask "Am I really awesome?" That's just me, though.

I have found the answer; What is God? Who am I?What is my purpose in life? You never asked, but maybe someone would like to know the answer i received. My purpose in life is to awaken to that which i really am. "God dwells within you as you". We have unity with God in unconditional love within our hearts. our supreme duty is to express that love. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight so to are we all contained within the light of Gods unconditional love. Now answers i need seem to come before i form the question.

The most important question will be why are we given this particular life? and the answer to this is we have to learn somethings from our birth on this planet and we learn each n every moment with our mistakes , emotions , happiness, sadness, cruelty or justification of attitudes with our analysis with the help of oyr mind and conscience So when we are learning the almighty also learns from our experience he gives us this life to make him aware of things which he is absolutely neutral to. For eg. When we are emotionally broken the feelings we experience from certain incidents we learn something and thats when the almighty learns wat we are going thru and due to wat we are going thru. When u see a holy person he/she is immune to such feelings as they seek God directly and do not live with the general public they reach a higher conscience which doesn't take worldly matters into consideration. God dwells on the neutral level he doesn't understand the craving for worldly matters like we humans do we keep on needing and craving for things to happen the way we want them to happen but in order to learn and experience things we are not given the liberty to achieve each n everything that we desire. If this was possible we cud have all been satisfied and content and wud never have thot of the almighty in our desperate time of helplessness.

Newayz this topic is way too complicated and will difer from person to person all I know is we live wat we were assigned to achieve by the almighty without our conscience knowing it in the human state but we choose our lives before taking birth (before taking human form ) .

Newayz it's wat I've known from and thus have imparted to u u may get many more explanations here and I may as well see wat others have to c on this question of urs it's a very nice question way too complicated but absolutely nice shows that ur a thinker :)

I already know the most important question about life....Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour?? And the answer is yes I have. We are on this earth to praise and worship God, no other reason. He will give your life meaning and purpose, and through him comes eternal life. Please accept him today, the time is short.

Why am I here?

If a person can always answer that question he/she would have found the meaning of "life".
