Look at this the other way around. If you were working or staying in Poland, wouldn't you appreciate free dental or medical treatment if you needed it?
Most immigrants are subject to having no 'recourse to public funds'. In practice, this means they have NO access to any of the following:
local authority housing, through either homelessness law or a housing allocation
income support and income-based jobseeker's allowance
housing benefit and council tax benefit
attendance allowance, severe disablement allowance, disability living allowance and carer's allowance
child benefit
payments from the social fund
child tax credit and working tax credit
pension credit.
So, they are already severely restricted and have no financial safety net should their stay turn pear-shaped.
Surely to deny them access to dental and medical treatment would be inhumane? I know they have access to paid for treatment, but the price of this is exorbitant to the majority of the population.
Just my view, feel free to give me thumbs down. I stand by my right to treat all people with love and respect.
Peace and God bless.

Looking at it from a different angle, how are doctors or hospital staffs supposed to turn people away who really need help? It's not like immigrants are getting free dermabrasion and liposuction. Not to say they shouldn't have to pay for the care they receive, of course.

If you simply complained that an immigrant got better treatment than you when they'd not chipped in their share, it would not sound racist. When you throw in the "Poles" ... starts sounding a tad racist. I'm sure all Poles are not the same, so it's best to not use labels. That is, if you don't want to sound racist.

i quess it the individual one person will find it racist the other wont, but hey we are all made to fight each other, the people in charge are to blame, coz you probably would except a hand out if given to you. all i wont is security, so im 30 worked since leaving school and studing, but coz of prices i still live with parents, i choose no to get pregnant and get a free council house, im no muslim or polish or coloured so i dont get a free house and im not a criminal so i dont get a free house when i come out of prison. All of the above are given these things but i dont blame them or feel racist towards them, the people who make the rules are to blame.

No its not being Racist. I agree with what you say and it is a good idea anyone who comes to this country should have to pay for the NHS until they have been here a year or so in full employment.

i agree with you and I also thin it is out of order for people in this country of english descent who have never bothered working a day in their life not only get the same treatment from the NHS as people who work but also get eveything we have to pay for for free!!
So its not racist, its just peeved at people who don't contribute to society, whatever the colour of their skin!

There's no better reason to hate someone than the fact that they're different from you. If they weren't, you wouldn't have anything against them. "Spice of life blah blah blah" Yeah, it's true. But it doesn't invalidate my point. There's nothing wrong with racism.

You have forgetton one important part of it, why are they here. If they have wanted to leave their own country enough to be an illegal immegrant then there lives before must have been so terrible that they deserve free treatment. Without considering that ur being racist.
