No, not unless you intend injury. The smaller rubber bands are quite appropriate and effective training tools for cats. Be careful not to use the really strong ones that could cause serious injuries, or the really small ones the cat might eat. However, if you do use the really small ones, the fluorescent varieties might make for an interesting litter box experience.

Yes it is. Rubber bands are expensive. You need to find one of those little plastic guns that shoot the little round yellow pellets. Much cheaper and much quicker on the draw. Check the toy department where ever you shop. Either that or buy a dog.

Yeah it's wrong. Your cat could choke on the rubberbands that get left on the floor. Or tangled inhis fur. Why would you do that. Trying clapping your hands, my cat responds.
