You can't do this using JavaScript. Its impossible.

Think about it, if JavaScript were to allow this then all those nasty people that write pop-up ads would be able to write pop-up ads that you couldn't close down! Nobody would want that!

I don't know about disabling the x button but if you goto dynamicdrive.com they have a script that disables the right-click, and mabey there is something about that x button?
