I was wondering when a song is playing on my ipod how do i stop it? I only know how to pause a song. HELP!!!?

There is no method to stop the playing song
once u pause it , it automatically gets stopped when u go to the next song or previous song
for making stop icon come on ur screen
during playback
1.press pause button
2. go to next song or the previous one
3.stop icon will be display don ur screen
but as far as i know there is no direct method to stop
it is only pause
