There are lots of examples in history e.g.

Alexander the Great
Ethelred the Unready
Richard the Lionheart
William the Conqueror

There are a few in popular culture, perhaps less accurately described as epithets

Dracula, Prince of Darkness
Mowgli the Man-cub
Harry Potter - The Boy who lived

Also in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", the Pevensey children are given royal epithets; Peter the Magnificent, Susan the Gentle, Edmund the Just, Lucy the Valiant.

Given the definition, I'm sure you can make up your own, espcially for this age-group.

Of course, the names don't necessarily have to be alliterative--I just thought it sounded better.
