I have, as a physician, used hair analysis. Ultimately I decided it was best ot detect the presence of heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium) whcih can affect immune function. It is a screening test. Other tests are necessary if positive (challenge tests). Also the lab yyou use is key (Genova best), and use only Johnsons Baby Shampoo for three weeks before taking sample. Constant nasal congestion can also be due to offending foods (dairy, eggs, wheat, sugar are most likely), as well as mold (in your home), respiratory allergies (dust etc), chronic (often fungal) sinusitis, adrenal insufficiency (allowing for poor immune function). Good Luck!

I work for a naturopathic physician and we can do hair analysis, but it's used for detecting heavy metal toxins in the body. Even for that, the prefered method is a urine test. Nasal congestion seems to indicate allergy, either food or airborne. Ask for a test that detects antibodies caused by allergens, both immediate and delayed reaction. Our office uses a blood test for this.

Hi.hair analysis will not diagnose your problem.Over 80% of the population in the USA have a candida yeast infection. Most people are not even aware that the yeast has grown out of control in their systems ,triggering all kinds of problems.Try a product called Total Immune Booster,a natural product that works. You can get more information at www.cell911.info

yeah i had one done when i was studying naturopathy. it was really interesting but my impression is it will just give you an indication of the vitamin/mineral status in your system especially heavy metals. The report that come with ti did say some possibilities about organ function and tendencies, but nothign conclusive. I'd wonder if something more like a vega test or allergy testing would be more appropriate for you as they could specify foods/triggers/causes.
good luck :o)

i'd not believe urgent care. they're in many cases expensive once you pay beforehand, and then deliver you hidden rates interior the mail for over $one hundred. i ought to signify going to a gynecologist because you sense you nonetheless have a difficulty. in view that your physician is too expensive, bypass to a planned Parenthood or being pregnant source center. With planned Parenthood, on your first visit. you only tutor them pay stubs of your artwork (in case you artwork) and your paycheck will verify in case you qualify for free facilities. From there, you could have verify-ups, sorting out, diagnosis, and medicines for free. Dont position self assurance in ugrent care in case you do not have the money.

analysis is correct or not! I've been feeling hot when people say it's cold.. and swelling in the left side of my face signs of Lupus!

maybe the doctor is trying to prove or rule out that your hair in your nose or your nostrils is not the cause of your nasal congestion.
