Ferrets - Yes Weasels - No

Rabbits are passive and domesticated, so are Ferrets.

Snakes are wild - but you keep them in box.

Weasels are pretty much a WILD CRITTER - you need a couple hundred generations of domestication to turn them into a good pet.

A weasel is one of the fiercest animals there is. They are known for never backing down. I had a 5 month old doberman get in a fight with a weasel and the weasel got the best of him. We had to have the pup put down after 4 months of trying to cure an abcess in his brain. I took in a beagle off death row 2 years ago who had been in a weasel fight and had her vocal cords so damaged she is now silent. Don't get a weasel.

don't weasels and ferrets eat rabbits?

like others have said, you're not going to be able to cuddle, or even handle, a weasel without getting bitten. and they'd probably get stressed out being in permanent captivity, unless they had an enormous secure outdoor run that simulated a wild environment, and you never touched them....like zoos would. i don't recommend it though. they're best left in the wild.

Well, Weasel is my neighbor. He is a cheapskate and makes you pay for all. However, we love our Weasel and wouldn't take a snake over our Weasel. He can be fun.

i don't think weasels would be that great of a pet, but ferrets are good pets, and they come from the weasel family, basically domesticated weasels. they are high maintenance, but funny, and playful!!

They are very unpredictable. Try a ferret or one of those flying squirrels
