I read that Charlie Mouse refused to sign a new contract as he was afraid of getting type cast.
Madeline & Gabriel decided to concentrate on their pop career.
Professor Yaffle was offered a seat at Oxford.
Bagpuss became a recluse, refusing to give interviews. I think that he moved to Australia.
The rest of 'the mice on the mouse organ', seemed to suffer the same fate of 'The Mnchkins' from 'the Wizard of Oz' - Too much good living, too many scandals, the odd fatal car crash & suicide.
Very sad.................
