I've never been to Philipphines,but when I lived in Spain I had to work with quite a few.I can tell you I never met a mean or unfriendly Philipphino,they have the best disposition and are a joy to work with,so I'd say they must be one,if not the friendliest people in the world.
But then there's also irish people,who are so much fun and open!I love them all.
Canadians are very laid back and nonjudgemental.They are very approachable,if that is a word.So that's my top three

I've been to Australia and I've been to the Netherlands and briefly in the Philippines. I can only relate friendliness from my own experiences in countries throughout the world. Every country I've visited had friendly people and unfriendly people, but mostly people were friendly. I now live in Thailand and chose this country to live because I thought the friendliest people are here. I haven't been disappointed in the eight years I've lived here. I live in Bangkok and I can go many places where people greet me with a smile and call me by name in a metropolitan area of nearly 12 million people. I lived in a small city in the US and it took years to build the network of friends I have here. The US is definitely not the friendliest place to be even though I enjoyed many friends there (and still do). I recently gave a party here in Bangkok for my friends and had nearly 100 people attending; I felt close to all of them. It was like one big happy family. I don't know where else it could be like this.

There are so many countries where the people are friendly,but if I had to choose one I would have to say Ireland.

Although they live under a most repressive regime, the Burmese, themselves, are as open and charming people one could meet, and they do not deserve their fate.

I think that we Australians are friendly, good humored, tolerant and don't take ourselves too seriously.
