Why we feel fear in the dark while we lives in the light on the same place ?

Eyes only the source to give the way to brain for further orders and in dark eyes can not able to work or some like this.

We fear in the dark because darkness represents the unknown. In the dark, we cannot see, therefore someone or something could be hiding somewhere, ready to jump out at us or attack us. Also, when we cannot see, our brain starts to imagine things, such as if one watches too much ghost movies, one might imagine ghosts hanging about.

I would say our visionary bad width is limited and you fear what would be happening out there.
One more thing we are not even in such a position to illuminate more then 1% of total dark area on the Earth during Night.
You might be knowing Little bit what is happening in area where light falls but can you imagine what kind of movements are possible in rest of the places.
Imagine you are sitting alone somewhere in your room with light on but you don't know how many people are setting beside you which does not fall under your visionary bandwidth may be several.

I don't thing we get fear in dark in a place familiar to us and where we live for quite some time. Only thing we may become bit more cautious as we can not see anything in dark and we will not be able to do anything which needs the help of light.

1.Darkness is the only truth that in the whole universe, which exist even there is no any source of energy, light etc. And it is the human tendency to fear truth which has dark side.
2. Darkness makes our sense to see ineffective.It leads the visionary power in total confusion even great power is applied it results failure and thus Nervous system send notice of failure ,and it becomes the matter of worry and hence our Nervous system runs in vague ideas that leads us to think destructive, as our intuition was received with failure notice which makes to think that something is going wrong and what that is ? we try to find and during whole process we point out all possible Angels of dangers .Thus finally mind is in situation to fear only and fearful ideas and thought comes in our mind

i would add, when we see lights & still we have fears!

be a single on south pole, where it is day for 6 months;
even protected by heated clothes, we would shiver ( even thought of it, is chilling )
just being alone- is a scary feeling!!!
