She's 40, single, no kids of her own. She has a good job, so any financial compensation would not be necessary. She also has some health issues, so the usual "pampering" ideas (massage, spa day, etc.) wouldn't work either.

How about a nice dinner you could either take her out or if she is not well enough cook a really nice dinner for her.I'm happy that you appreciate her help.

Take her out....get her away from her everyday life. Maybe a movie and dinner....it's always good to have time with your friends!
