Limewire is legal, although I haven't tried it yet but there's nothing as a free lunch in this world so I would be extra carefully downloading anything on the internet (unless you paid for it!)

I have been using limewire for a couple of years at no cost to me in any way. If something is wrong with any of the tracks limewire let you know before you keep it. I wouldn't use anyone else unless they were going to pay me to download

If you're not bothered about legality I use eMule...although Bitlord is good too.
