How do I know these things ( i dont think im psychic)!!?

I am 17 and I sometimes just KNOW things. Usually when I'm on the phone with someone I will get a feeling that they're doing something or have a feeling they're wearing this and when i ask them i am usually right.

I remember being on the phone with my friend and I told her to stop looking at the speaker like that and she was actually looking at her stereo speaker wondering if it had dust on it.

I'm usually good at knowing what colors they're wearing, i'm right 99% of the time. Today I asked this one person I was on the phone with if he was wearing black shorts and a white shirt, he wasn't, he was wearing black sweats and a white tee. I asked if his 2 year old brother had on blue and he did. Things like this always happen.

Does anyone else have this THING? Why do i do this? Please do not ask me about what you're wearing but someone that will answer has on red or had on red today.

Please do not jump to conclusions and tell me not to pursue it as a career, this is something I do not want to do at all. It just weirds me out sometimes and I'm wondering if any one else does this.

ASKMEG, wow, okay. I was doing something with my feet but it wasn't that i was moving them around in a weird way on the floor and i hurt my toe lol. And I really don't get chances for pedicures but I'm ALWAYS worried about my feet and have been trying to get one lately. Weird!! ;)

My impression is that these things occur because things give out indication or vibes about other things.
For example, even a normal person can tell from very small changes in facial expressions to a good degree what somebody is feeling. There are people who cannot do this and their life is extremely difficult; they are almost unable to form normal, intimate relationships. On the other hand, a few people have been tested to be 100% accurate whether somebody is lying.
Similarly a doctor can tell diseases from signs that the untrained person does not see, a car mechanic can tell things about an engine from it's sound that we can't.
Many kinds of better quality fortune telling also seem to work like that. These highly intuitive people use some kind of ritual and fragments of information (signs) to trigger an intuitive faculty within themselves.
In your case it would be interesting to know if you're reading the person's mind from his or her voice.
Here is an experiment for you: See if you can guess what color they're wearing, if the person herself does not know what kind of color they're wearing (get the cooperation of a blind person or ask a third person to blindfold them in a shop and give them clothes to try on). If it repeatedly doesn't work in that case, you know that you're picking it up from their mind.
In either case, try to train your mind to pick up more useful things, e.g. try to feel whether somebody is lying or why they are talking to you (set up experiments with friends).
If you want to cultivate this ability try to practice meditation (for example samatha) to make the mind very still. When you come out of the unified state you should be better at it and maybe you can even get glimpses at what and how the mind is doing it.
It's a great gift. Don't waste it.

I do this too sometimes, i freak myself out more than the other person ,I can't explain where it comes from, It usually starts out as a joke ,then my mouth just runs with it lol. When i first met my husband , I asked him if he lived in a certain area and he said no but he had lived there until he was 7.I went on to describe the layout of the house ,a long corridor leading from the entrance and at the end was his bedroom in which there were bunkbeds and his brother shared the room ,to get to it you had to pass 2 doors on the right ,the bathroom and his parents bedroom ,etc,I mentioned they had a canary,he loved a little red tricicle and he sported a scar on his upper thigh on his left leg ,and his mom had a coffee table in the sitting room which was covered in red roses.Loads of other stuff too It was all true.Then i met a friend of his for the first time and during the conversation my husband had told him of this, his friend was laughing and said so tell me something about me, again i don't know where it came from,but i told him he had 3 brothers and a sis,his sis was married to a man who had some form of disability,he laughed again and said well go on then what is it,and i said he has one leg shorter than the other and wears a built up shoe,He insisted that i somehow knew his family,which i didn't, I also told him he himself was in a car accident involving a light blue car ,that the car turned over and over ,and there was a roundabout at the place where it took place and a pub and that no other vehicles were involved and they had been lucky, no one had been seriously injured they had all four of them walked away from it.He was really freaked out.Usually if someone asks me too do it i can't it's wierd.I do it on line too sometimes,i was playing someone at yahoo pool and in the middle of the conversation ie where r u from ? are you married/kids ? etc i got an overwhelming urge to ask, do you have a motorbike or are thinking of buying one ? lol It turned out, that the guy was going to pick his bike up next day,he thought i was mystic meg lol and started asking questions all about his life,but my mind just shut down and i was wishing i hadn't mentioned the bike,and he beat me at pool which you wouldn't need psychic powers to figure out :0)

No worries. I won't ask if you know anything about me. But my most recent experience with this as well was when I went to eat with my Mom. All of a sudden, I yelled out "Don't Spill" because in my mind, I saw a glass tipping.

The moment I had opened my mouth to say that, the person sitting behind my Mother spilled her drink. She was so freaked that I called it without even seeing it that she moved tables... She told me she was freaked out.

I had no explanation for her.

I think some are more intuitive than others.......
Like, for instance, I get this picture in my mind that you are doing something with your feet right now. Painting your nails, or you have had a pedicure recently. You are big on making sure you feet always look nice...

Yet, I can't tell you what you are wearing.

Being intuitive is the power to discern the true nature of a person or situation with only your mind and not with other help. This is what you seem like you are. This is a gift because most people aren't as intuitive nor can they be that in touch with themselves that they can listen to what they feel or see within.

Like those previous solutions, you're clairvoyant or have a strong experience of instinct. trust me when I say that you're SO fortunate! And--you do not ought to trust this--i'm exceptionally effective you're psychic. attempt meditation to strengthen your *present* an basic thanks to meditate is to pay interest and word your respiration, as well as you may. attempt it! i'm wearing a basic blue hoodie/sweatshirt. Is that sufficient? i imagine that's really cool information on a thanks to understand issues that are authentic even although you won't be able to work out them precisely. do not abuse what you've been given! maybe you have a strong instinct. ive guessed what happens before lots of times... i wouldnt pursue this as a carreer or anything.. so get the laughs out and go on...
