Yes! I think it has to do with the way you view yourself. If you are huge skinny celebs tend to make you flatter yourself if don't like the way you look.you'll work yourself overtime to be like him/her and may end up having lots of stress. If you like yourself you'll pity that celeb. On the other hand skinny people tend to appreciate themselves and the celebs make it much more better so its up to you

yes they do. and not only their being thin or skinny but also having undergone cosmetic surgery like having now this almost perfect face and body. thats why here in in the Philippines there was group which was launched recently to educate kids that there are many faces of beauty....i dont think skinny models should be banned, but they become skinny due also to the clothes they wear or are being sewed or made for them to wear. maybe the drive for change should begin to those who make those clothes.....

of course...u look at them and then look at urself and think that ur extremely fat and ugly....when compared to most normal people in the world ur normal and fit right in....they lower ur self esteem and make money for the diet pill companies....skinny catwalk models dont make any sense shouldent models b the size of the people who r actuall goin to wear the clothes...to show how the clothes will actually look on them....it makes no sense whatso ever....

I think to alot of young girls they may and to some young women. And the models im sure its the same. I love to look at fashion can't afford it but I love to look. Some one has to show the off the designer work and they will always have them cause the clothes industry is big business and in demand. I hope this helps.

yeah, and when magazines portray them as what is 'beautiful', it intensifies the perspective... i think the models should be banned b/c beauty needs to be redefined in our culture to a more natural type
