Personally my first choice would be digital (Sony), but if I need a back up in case the memory stick was full, I would get my film camera out (Canon) , but that doesn't happen too much cause my memory stick holds about 40 photos.

Both, because i can use digital and check my best pics, i can use film because u can develop the film and keep it as a good memory

My first choice is a Rebel film 35mm camera, my second would be a Canon digital camera.

I Like The Digital One :) , I Had NIKON e720, i guess it was the best That time, Now i Have Sony and its Nice, I can Hold 3000 Photos in it !

Camera of choice would be many but presently I use Sony Cybershot R1 which is awesome camera in itself. It could be used as a basic camera before jumping on to SLRs, if you are still a novice in Photography.

I have both! It seems that if you want professionalism, you'll want the canon. Tough the kodak is more "Down Home" and easier for the average joe. Dont worry about mega-pixels, unless you plan on doing any Major photo editing, 5 mega pixels is actually plenty. So dont let the Kodak with its 14 MP attrackt you.
