no, i dont like him.... based on the news, he's very hot-headed, envious, and he has a very negative attitude... remember what happened during the celebrity games, his allegations to erik santos, hmmm?!

You think Jinggoy "The Unggoy" Estrada is goodlooking? Boy, you DO have a pretty wide latitude on what is ACTUALLY pleasant to look at.

The thing here is that, a LOT of politicians are screwing us in every way possible. Wouldn't it be better and more palatable if the one who is screwing us has the looks for a change? In true Imeldific fashion, we will be enthralled by "the Good, the True and the Beautiful" until the Philippines go the way of Uganda or Somalia to which it is headed anyways.

Me? There's always some other countries to migrate to before pandemonium starts (on May 2007, perhaps?).

Now, where did I put that passport...?

pls philippines think a million times before you vote if you want changes in our country.

It's so hard working here in abroad just to send money to our family while the government spending a lots of money instead helping of our country because of this do-nothing-senator..

P.S..when was the election for president and senator?..

There is nothing wrong with Filipinos. It is the political parties who are to blame for this! These parties are the ones who encourage these people to run.

Unlike the House of Representatives where Congressmen are elected by districts or locality, the Philippine Senate is basically open for EVERYONE to run and is voted by the entire country. For this reason, you need to be POPULAR all over the country to get elected to the Philippine Senate. That is why I am for its abolition or revamp! The Philippine Senate should be more representative similar to the House of Representatives. This is the only way we prevent Mother and Son, Actors and Rebels from becoming Senators!

there are alot of actors turned politician that are good. like for example herbert bautista. he helped quezon city alot by building alots of schools and funding some city projects.

i don't know why those men won the election. they're just wasting the taxpayer's money. is it just all about popularity? just for example lito lapid. he is a very famous action star here. after being elected did we ever hear something from him in the senate? for example amending or passing a new law? never!

richard gomez? i don't think so. he has a bad temper and alot of issues in his life. he should hold first a lower office so he can prove himself first to the people. like a barangay captain or kagawad. if he proved something then we can think of voting him.

please, please, please be wise in voting.

I don't trust famous, good-looking, over-confident men who are never content with what they have and make excuses that they want to "extend (their) service to a broader population" when it's very obvious that they only want to become powerfully richer and 'controlling' without knowing anything about politics, economics and basic arithmetic.

nam paux-ta nayan.

Politics is a popularity race, my friend.

As for me, I'm not fond of choosing movie stars/ athletes as the leaders of my country.

Since I was eligible to vote,I never voted for actors, although there are actors that made good names in politics, which I could name only one,Vilma Santos...I will not vote for them and if they run for any position in our coming election,i will campaign for them not to be voted.

put it this way, atleast some people can think of what is proper, Unfortunately we have a lot of unfortunate and "tanga" filipino citizens who are patronizing them. One thing for sure, not one of them i prefer....
