Am using word 98 and have yet to find the instructions on either Toshiba or Word Help - this gal in Australia is getting frantic!!

forget word98 for a second.
do you have a built in cd burner? current drivers? which OS?
wouldnt it be easier to plug in a USB stick for a quick transfer?

Well it is window media player issue with digital media player patent right issue. It won't let you burn the TV shows that it thinks has or need digital patent right. Like it need license from the site you just download to burn them. Try other DVD burning software for it. Something simple and out of date. I use roxio that came with my Dell computer. Google for it for free one in internet.
