winter formal is definately a tux or suit dance. usually black. are you going with a girl? if so, ask her what color dress she is going to be wearing so that you can match your tie with it. if youre just going in a group or something, pick any color you want!

Ask your class mates what they are wearing and if they are renting tux rent one too.
There so many to choose from and ask them the most popular and the ones that cost less and so. Do be afraid to ask it there jobs. And some of your friends may not be sure either so you can go as a group and check out tuxs.
