Sometimes I forget to pick or am unable to choose because there are so many good answers so I let it go into voting. When I pick a best answer I always give a response. I like to thank all the people who gave good answers and the few that gave nasty ones I like to tell them where they can stick it.

I have only asked a few questions, only one was ever answered, and only recently have I discovered you could add a response. I encourage people to toss in their hat if they know the answers to my extremely obscure movie questions.
I think that the points for best answer are reward enough, but it is always nice to add the personal touch of a kudos.

You have to at least say Thank You. Sometimes you only get a few responses to your question and they all sound kind of the same, but at least the effort was there. Without that, YA would not exist

Yes. Although some have called me "too serious" because of my tendency to do so. There was a time when I answered with sarcasm and jokes. But that quickly grew tiresome.

Generally speaking, I try to.
I'm actually more of an answerer than an asker, and I will say that when I receive a real response from the asker, it is appreciated.
