This bestfriend (guy) of mine(whom I'm starting to like) got mad at me last year on December for not giving him his space. SInce then, we rarely talk but he did greeted me in my birthday (via phone) As classes resumed, we still rarely talk but I could see him looking at me in some instances. I tried my best to give him the space he wanted (even if it hurts). After a few weeks, he seems to be coming back to the way we used to be (talking, telling jokes, sharing experiences,.) but the difference is, we're not together anymore, instead he's with his guy friends and I'm with my girlfriends. Whenever he tells a joke w/ my friends, he always looks at me & laughs. One time, I heard him talking to one of the girls in class (but I pretend I didn't hear anything) saying that he had a "new" crush on someone...Odd since whenever he had a crush on someone, he always tells me about it(in fact, I know all the girls he like but not this one). Was he hiding something from me that I should know?

Sounds like he was confused about how he felt about you, possibly. Maybe you're the crush, that would explain why didn't tell you.

Do you mean the 174 Billion that has been tallied and in the news? He didn't hide it, he accounted for it separately to decrease the impact of his overall budget number in the press, but of course everyone was talking about it in the media anyway. Hiding is something you can substantiate when the media can't gain access to it. Like the answers to these questions: -Who is the bailout money being paid to organizationally and specifically? (the treasury people won't say) -What sectors of the economy will provide the growth the administration is projecting, in justifying the increase of the deficit where it nearly equals our yearly GDP? (no answer, sorry) -How is the Census process going to be executed? What policies are going to be implemented in counting citizens versus illegals? (the policy is now in the White House staff, so they don't have to tell you or Congress) Yep, Bush did a lot of the same kind of stuff, I guess there is no real change after all....

Why do we constantly allow guys to depict the way we feel or behave.
I'm sure most of us feel that we are independent self-reliant women yet when a guy doesn't call, we feel like ****. Suddenly we are no longer confident. Does he not like me anymore? Like wat the ****. I need to get off that hook. I need to think that i can move on. I know i can but i need time. After that i want no more emotional attachments cos they eventually hurt u. But i know no matter how much u tell urself to keep things simple..it becomes complicated.
Sch is ******* stressful with mid-terms on their way and project deadlines approaching like a looming dark cloud. Life has never been this stressful and boring. It's a routine. Sch-project meeting-home. But i dun think i can handle any distraction. It'll be too hectic. But my darlings..u can come and disturb me anytime. I appreciate the asking of my well being and concern from u people. It really helps.
I just want to make sure i never fall into the trap again. No matter how shitty or boring life can be..it's still better than having ur heart heaved out of ur body and being trampled on.
When i see someone in love, i feel like yanking their heads out and filling it with hate. I wonder what's so especially abt love that one actually forgets his own identity? I'm not toking without experience..Infact i can say with much certainty that I hate the feeling of being in love..It makes u weak, vulnerable, clingy, wide-eyed, dreamy and so many other words i can come out with that associate back to being a loser.. Where's the strong, up-town, sophisticated, I-Know-i can -make-it on-my-own woman? I'm really a huge feminist.. which is why i dun give a **** abt what a guy has to offer me cos it's never enough and also i can get watever i want myself!

flip the switch maybe, make him chase you for once. try tellin him your dating another guy and gauge his reaction to this kind of news, but tell him in person not by phone its always easier to read someones feelins when your standing in front of them. then go from his reaction on where you two stand

It sounds like he might like you, if things are back to normal, but he isnt telling about someone he likes, it might be you and he just hasnt found out a way to tell, but idk you never know for sure unless you ask.
