I know it might sound like this is a joke but i really am not joking. I have OCD so i obsess over things and think he has to know every thing about me but more the bad and that is probably because my ex made me tell him everything but anyways, you know how it is natural and NORMAL even though society thinks it's not to like to smell your own fart? well, i feel i have to tell my soon to be boyfriend that i do. It is really depressing. I know it sounds stupid but just try to understand! I told him other personal things in a message but he didn't not like me after he just thought it was weird i told him. He says i don't have to tell him everything and he loves me no matter what but i feel like he needs to know!

OK you shouldn't tell anything to your boyfriend. Come on girl you should have secrets of your own . If you tell him everything then he can take advantage of it ( i am not saying he will). If you think you just can't have secrets then make e-mail pen-pals . As you have not seen them they will never expose your secrets. You aren't stupid . All you should know is you should have your own personal space , you are your own person and nobody takes your right of you being your person. I hope this answer can help you in some way.

There's medication for OCD, you know? If you tell him this, you'll keep telling him other things and more other things, and it will never stop and also never be enough, and you'll chase him away, and then the next guy after him and the next. You have to learn to deal with the uncomfortable feeling, because when you tell something, there will just be another uncomfortable feeling around another compulsion. Really, medication and counseling will help. Unless, of course, your goal is to drive everyone away so you get to be alone.

well if you told him other "personal" things, you might as well tell him. but for starters, do you feel comfortable with telling him? you can tell anyone anything you want, as long as you are fine with it, and if you are prepared for their reaction. dont listen to your ex, you don't need to tell your new boy anything that your not comfortable with. best wishes!
