Yes it does, If you are black you have more melanin in your skin which protects you from various skin related problems.
Where if your skin is white you have problems of sun strokes, skin cancer and some times other skin issues.
Apartfrom the above, there is nothing wrong or right about skin color. Those who really think anything outside the scientific boundaries are probably having problem inside there brain. They need Psychiatrist aid.

I wonder what color is your car or suv? Did it matter that you had to choose? If i were a car I would know the probabilities of preference......Aside from legal rules and human rights there is no accounting for taste it may matter more to a female than a male mostly concerned with performance but the color preference is with most everybody one way or another .

does it make any differance to you? i think every body should be proud about the way they are. if some one has a fair skin, sweet smile and a selfish egoistic attitude... i wont care a bit abt him/her. ur character counts more than ur color. (i know it sounds very much like the one u hear in moral science classes.... but it is true.)

No it doesn't make any difference to me. Did somebody say something to you? Ignore forgive and forget and get on with your life. Underneath the skin we're all alike and we're all God's children, so be brave.

From a purely practical perspective, yes, it does. There are still enough bigots around so that racism still flourishes. It's not the ideal, but it's the reality.
