Nostalgia is my reason. It is not everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly is mine.
I like an almost-obscure image that throws people back about twenty to thirty years. People don't tend to think about certain icons from a bygone era, but they certainly recognize them. It's a nice surprise to see Don Knotts or David Lo Pan (Big Trouble in Little China) or perhaps Colonel Sanders. Maybe even a Muppet or two. I am going with Grimace right now because I also like the colour purple.
Who knows how many copyright laws I am violating? I don't get a penny for my nonsense, so I don't imagine anyone caring if I use Grimace or not. I don't believe I am tainting his good name, ha ha.

Oumph ! Someone is inspired tonite!
I Simply ask my inner guidance to lead me to the best images that represent the energy I want (or also should ) portray at the moment...And then bam! I stumble upon images that say: "Pick me, pick me"
The colors also have their reasons to be there as well, everything I do has a counscious lead to a definite purpose,but I choose to keep that as a secret...
