I think it's time. Sen. Obama's been called the first "post-racial" candidate, and that well may be, but perhaps it is time that we elect an African-American president to heal the wounds of slavery and Jim Crow. I've read that Caucasians and others are drawn to him because he has made clear that he does not want an apology for those crimes, nor is he claiming to represent only African-Americans as another Al Sharpton or similar figure. I think that Sen. Obama can and will be elected because through his actions, he has consistently shown that he represents all Americans, and wants the national reconciliation to begin.

10 to 25 years from now, if the black race can pull themselves out of the mental gutter in that length of time. Because if they don't, the whites will subdue them again as it is in our nature to keep stupid people out of power positions.
