It says I have a new update for Ipod (1.21) What does it do? I don't want to just download it, incase it adds or takes something away, like what my computer does

it's probably a necessary update. i would download it and install it, but make sure that all your music is still saved somewhere on your harddrive. that way, in the unlikely event that it clears you iPod, you'll still have all your music, and can just put it back on the iPod.

it doesnt do anything bad, and all of your files are kept, it just keeps it running at top speed and such...just make sure you never hit restore, for that will take off all of your songs
