how can i make my computer go faster, at first i was thinking that there might be a virus or something but there isnt one, so what should i do?..get a memory chip or somthin

Find out what brand your computer is (should say it on the front) then go to the companies homesite and talk to a customer service representative, and tell them you need more RAM for your system (they should ask you for the model number and tell you where to find it).

Do a disc clean up go to control panel that should help, Then try to de-frag you didn't say how old your pc is also when computers get lots of hours on them the hard drive slows down from wear.

You can wipe your computer, which is basically taking EVERYTHING off of it, including the Windows program (if you have windows) and reinstalling it. If you dont have the book that came with the computer, I would suggest having a company do it for you. Also, make sure you have the origional installation disks that came with it too.

clean all cookies, temp internet files and history of your computer and do a defrag

You could try over-clocking the processor.
