Battle of the Trilogies. If anyone has any other trilogies to compare feel free. I just thought these were to good ones. Personally I say Lord of the rings is better.

The Lord of the Rings is way better. It's a timeless classic that no other trilogy will ever surpass. The Matrix, while I enjoyed it, I felt was progressively worse.

The Matrix is more reality? More like the furthest from.
LOTR definitely wins this round. Matrix confused the snot out of me!

The Lord of the Rings is drawn out, dragging for would be 11 hours for the entire series with the director's cut? I'm sorry. There is very few movies I can do that with. Besides, I like the cinematography of the Matrix, very expressionistic.

Both Movie has there moments, and I love both of them. Matrix for its action, and lord of the rings more for the story. I guess overall for content i would pick lord of the rings.
