You overthrew a Dictator and created more bloodshed in the process. So why should the Iraqis say thank you? Besides, if you are talking about Arabs, there are still quite a fe w dictators around, so what about over throwing them? Liberation is not about enforcing what you think it's right for the people, but rather listen and do the thing that the Arabs themselves want and need.
If the Soviets were still around today and they are even stronger than the US, would you want them to attack your country, throw out your entire politcal system and instill a communist leader?
I'm sure you wont like something to be enforced on you. So spare a thought for the Arabs. Is what Bush is doing now what the Arabs really want?

It's like this Mullett Head...
Arabs have been killing each other over stupid crap for thousands of years. What makes you think that would stop them or they'd care if we have people stuck in the middle. A lot of Arabs still believe in "an eye for an eye" justice. This is further compounded by extremists telling boys that are young, dumb and full of ... that if they strap a bomb to their body and blow up a bunch of "infidels", god will be pleased and reward them with 78 virgins in heaven.
