It's already a failure as a war campaign against terrorism. Which is an unidentifiable idea or philosophy, not a real, known identifiable enemy.
The retaliation for 9/11 was accomplished long ago.
But it's already a sucess at it's real purposes. And for that reason it will continue, indefinitely. At least until this 'terrorism' character is found or eradicated or whatever.
It's the same as the war against drugs. Even law enforcement doesn't agree with it. http://leap.cc
Yet it continues.
These rhetorical wars will continue to be used until enough people realize that there is no redeeming value in them and the true reasons behind them are not in the peoples best interests.

It will not succeed until it withdraws its forces from Iraq. From the facts, it is presumed that it is encouraging terrorism. In the name of terrorism, it is invading countries and imposing restrictions and dictating the terms of the country occupied. The rebels from these are turning themselves as terrorists and targeting the Americans. Most of the countries have fallen prey to imperialistic designs of America in the name eradicating terrorism. If America wants successful in its campaign against terrorism, it should desist from invading other countries in the name of terrorism and manufacturing nuclear weapons. It should not interfere in other country's affairs. Instead, it should help the UN movement to resolve any disputes between countries or among countries. It should see that the problems of international arena should be solved through United Nations good offices.

If we can get the New World Order/Globalists to stop terrorizing us, then we win the war against terrorism. As long as people continue to fall for the BS that the Globalist owned and controlled mainstream media keeps feeding us, then the people will lose the war against terrorism!!!! 9/11 was an inside job!!!!!

Earnest, the folk who you addressed your question to prefer no longer something better than political income on something. they're going to deny the existence of any Al Qaeda plot except it succeeds and then, they might use that to criticize the President in his failure to guard the country. The absence of any significant useful attack against the country consequences interior the Democrats/Liberals/Socialist purely refusing to admit that there became EVER any danger, no longer that the administration has been useful in protecting people from very nearly all threats different than American Trial attorneys with TB to Democrats with their eye on the prize and little else!

You cant win the war on terror...they have been that way for a long long time...there will always be terrorists. We can only hope to minimize the damage they do.

I think we are doing all that we can in our power to control terrorism, but I honestly don't think it will ever be totally wiped-out. It is too wide-spread all over the world.

Never. As long as there is someone to terrorize, there will be terrorists. Not like we can eradicate all of them (**** we can't even get Osama).
